Our Growers

We work with growers and producers in the Indigenous communities of Peru focused on farming organic produce. All of these under the supervision of the agriculture Ministry of Peru.

MACA has been a staple food of the Incas for thousand of years. It is an edible root that grows in extremely harsh conditions. QUINOA on the other hand is a grain-like seed also served as a staple food in the Inca diet and was referred to by the Incas as the "mother grain".

Our Maca, Quinoa and our growers are located in the heart of the Andes in Peru. Our Maca is cultivated in areas located over 5,000 m above sea level in the Peruvian region of Junin. For every season, the land is carefully prepared by the farmers to ensure the soil is full of nutritious minerals that can be absorbed entirely by the product.

Peru grows a variety of CACAO Beans some of them very rare and exotic, and it is characterized by its deep flavor and nutritional value. In the ancient Mesoamerican cultures, Cacao beans were used as a common currency due to its highly regarded nutritional value.

Our Cacao is sourced from indigenous communities made up by local families located adjacent to the Amazon River. There are about 290 farmers working to improve their technical capacity to grow and produce higher qualities of premium Cacao beans. The production process is still highly manual and takes place on small farms where the cacao is grown, harvested by hand, fermented and laid out to be dried under the sun.

CHIA SEEDS translate to "Strength" in the Mayan language and were used as a source of energy for Warriors heading into battle. Our Peruvian farmers ensure that the seeds are not processed in any way prior to their use as food to be ingested. Post-harvested seeds are cleaned and not subjected to any chemical treatments. The seeds are stored in sacks within fully enclosed warehouse facilities.
